The New 2025 Buick Enclave

Buick is about to release the latest version of its flagship model, the Enclave. Due this summer, the 2025 Buick Enclave has undergone a series of updates, including new technology, exterior enhancements, and interior redesigns, marking the conclusion of Buick's overhaul of its existing four-vehicle lineup.

The new Enclave has a fresh grille and front design, complete with Buick's new logo on the hood. The LED headlights and taillights have also been redesigned, to reinforce Buick's signature winged style. When looking from the rear of the vehicle, you'll notice a new design with updated badges, all inspired by Buick's Wildcat EV concept.

The 2025 Buick Enclave boasts slightly increased dimensions in length and width. Additionally, the wheels have been upsized, with 20 inches becoming the standard size for lower trims, while the Avenir model boasts 22-inch wheels complete with a pearl-nickel finish.

Powering  The 2025 Enclave

With a new turbocharged 2.5-liter I-4 engine replacing the previous 3.6-liter V-6, the 2025 Enclave sees a horsepower boost to 328 from the V-6's 310, and torque increases from 266 to 326 lb-ft. Accompanying this upgrade is a revamped eight-speed automatic transmission derived from GM's nine-speed gearbox.

All-wheel drive is now an option across all trim levels—Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir—and the Enclave boasts a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.

As a pioneering feature for Buick, the 2025 Enclave introduces Super Cruise, GM's hands-free highway driver-assist technology with automated lane change capability. This cutting-edge technology is available as part of an optional package across all trim levels. Additionally, the Avenir model enhances its suspension with continuous damping control, previously offered as part of a tech package but now standard.

In its commitment to family safety, Buick equips most of the Enclave's available safety features as standard. These include driver assistance technologies designed to brake, accelerate, and steer to prevent collisions.

 The Interior

Inside the 2025 Buick Enclave, your attention is immediately drawn to its expansive 30.0-inch display, the largest in its segment, seamlessly integrated into the redesigned dashboard beneath a single pane of glass. This impressive screen, also featured in the refreshed 2024 Envision, replaces the previous 8- and 11-inch displays and offers customization options, allowing you to arrange apps on the favorites bar running along the left side. Alongside familiar features like Google Maps, Assistant, and Play, the Enclave maintains compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

All of the new  2025 Enclave models will come with wireless charging as a standard feature, conveniently located within a thoughtfully angled phone tray in the center console. The center console itself now offers more space, courtesy of Buick's decision to relocate the gear shifter to the steering column. Finishing touches include brushed aluminum accents on the instrument panel and canary gold trim surrounding the console. Additionally, the cabin can be illuminated in your choice of 126 ambient light colors.

Adding a touch of luxury, the Avenir version boasts custom perforation patterns in the leather on door-trim inserts, dash, and seats. The Enclave ST stands out with a flat-bottom steering wheel and industrial-style trim in the black interior, complemented by white stitching and piping. All trims come equipped with a Bose audio system, with the Avenir model featuring 16 speakers, four more than other models.

The new 2025 Buick Enclave prioritizes comfort with ample headroom and legroom. The second row comprises captain's chairs, with a wide walk-through to access the third row. These seats can be easily tipped, and slid forward at the touch of a button. The absence of an optional bench seat for the second row makes it a seven-passenger vehicle. Second-row passengers enjoy heated cupholders (standard in the Avenir) and climate controls. In the top trim, standard front seats are heated, cooled, and offer massage functionality.

Both the second- and third-row seats can be folded flat, with a standard power-folding feature for the third row. For added convenience, the powered autosense liftgate provides hands-free access to the cargo area by opening automatically when approached with the key fob. A panoramic sunroof comes standard in the Avenir and is available on other trims.
